So I know I only have like 10 followers who interact with my posts, but if anyone plays the sims 4 you should go follow my simblr @candyypantssims (especially if you use mods. I do recolors)
I made a seperate account for sims stuff so I’m split between two Tumblr accounts now. When we gonna get a feature to easily switch between accounts like Instagram hmm????
Before anyone says anything about Glenn’s death in the Walking Dead being the exact same as the comics, keep in mind that they changed dozens of deaths from the comics even of major characters like Lori, Hershel, Andrea, Sophia, Tyreese, and Dale. And they kept some characters alive that died in the comics like Carol because fans responded so well to them.
They could have given Glenn’s death to just about anyone that wasn’t Rick, Carl, Michonne or Maggie, or at the very least they could have paid Steven what he was worth before the issue 100 scene.
By assuming the “all lives matter” is directly only about white people you are completely disregarding the lives of Asians, Hispanics, Latinos, native American, and middle eastern people who are also murdered or beaten because of who they are. Open your eyes.
Can you not use natives as examples to support your anti-blackness? All lives matter is a way to silence black people. As a native, I want no part in that.
You know, for all I really love the episode “Crystal Venom” I can’t help but see how rough it was on Lance. And he doesn’t hide it, not one bit. It starts with getting locked in the healing pod, he obviously isn’t very thrilled about that. But we get to see how much it really affected him once he gets out of it:
He’s on an alien ship with fancy advanced tech that just froze him and locked him away. And he’s Lance, he can roll with the punches, but that’s a little much. He’s fine as long as Coran talks to him, but as soon as he leaves he just-
-and runs. He’s still hugging himself when he walks along the halls of the castle before the lights go out:
And I don’t even need to provide screenshots from how freaked out he was when that happens, we all remember that. But while he’s screaming for help there are moments where he looks positively defeated – he genuinely thought he was going to die there:
Once Keith saved him, he just sits like that for a while:
Close to the ground where the wind can’t reach him, legs still in position to run away. Just looking at that I can feel how shaky and weak he must be feeling. And once he meets Pidge and Hunk, he actually legitimately gets angry at them for “floating around” while the castle was trying to kill him. He’s agitated, he’s shaken up, he is fucking done with everything:
But the most important part is probably when they run to Allura after the alarm has sounded. He has reached his limit, he is done, he can’t deal with even more weird stuff that’s trying to kill him. As soon as he catches sight of a pretty much sleepwalking Allura, he hangs back:
No more. Lance loves his friends, he has proven in the exact same episode still that he would run down a haunted hall to save Coran – but that turned out to be a trap, so he’s not taking any chances anymore. He is scared enough that he doesn’t join the other paladins in running forward to help Allura. And once he finally tentatively catches up-
-he’s still in the very back, body turned away, ready to run. Just. I hope he got a lot of sleep after this episode was over, he deserves the rest more than anyone D:
im very film illiterate like ive seen maybe 5% of all the classic movies everyone’s supposed to have seen to understand references and shit like that like uuhhhh
like 99.9% of “classic” movies have a male protaganist and I don’t hate myself enough to sit through that shit
they want to make the internet like tv. with channels and paying to get to specific websites and things. net neutrality = not doing that
This impacts every internet user. Please signal boost the hell out of this and sign the petition if you are American
I do not reblog things like this very often, but this affects me both personally and my business as a freelance artist.
In the economy here; cash is already strapped as it is. You bet your ass companies would suck the ever living life out of misc. art sites.
I don’t want it to ever come down to me choosing between groceries or purchasing a new tier package via comcast to be able to access tumblr or DeviantArt (let alone not guaranteeing I’ll even be seen by my customer base since they may not want to pay out their asses either). It doesn’t seem important to most, but I do 90% of my business online entirely.
Please sign up, fight for this and share it with your followers/friends/family and urge them to give them hell as well.
Not writing related, but this is incredibly important. While we pay for service via ISPs, the internet has been a relatively free space where everyone, no matter their income level, is able to connect, access a wealth of information, and express themselves. The Internet has become a major part of our culture as human beings and the notion that ISPs might be able to limit what sites I can access unless I pay them more is utterly sickening. A lot of us are cash strapped as is, and I’d rather not be limited even more by someone else’s greed. Net Neutrality is essential and I hope you guys will understand why it needs to remain.

P.S. Signal boost this if you’re able.

As I understand this ruling, it means that businesses now have to pay extra to ISPs to have access to their websites through that ISP provided at a reasonable speed. If you don’t pay, users’ access to your website will be slowed to a crawl – so independent people and small businesses can forget about getting onto that high speed access tier.
This means that the American internet is going to be firmly under the control of those who have the most money. You’ll only get to see the content of those who can pay the ISPs to provide access at a reasonable speed. This means that you can expect to see skewed representation of just about everything, with those bigger businesses who can afford to pay ISPs a premium for access deciding what you can and cannot read, view and consume on the internet.
This is not something that we have in the UK. Our ISPs compete with each other to provide higher speeds, better services and lower prices, but because there’s a monopoly in the US of a few ISPs who provide services, they can afford to do this to you. You can’t go anywhere else, after all.
Everyone in the US needs to sign that petition, call their representatives, write angry letters and do whatever you can to tell your government that this ruling is Not Okay.
Maybe you guys are sick of this post but It’s really important to freelance artists and pretty much everyone who uses the internet, so here it is again. o0o/
