i literally can’t stop thinking about this video and i lose it every time

okay everything about this video is absolute gold:

  • the fact that the guy argues via the puppet the entire time

  • the music

  • “let’s discuss the contradiction”
  • the overuse of the word “camera”
  • the way the puppet goes from trying to placate the guy to actively arguing against the guy and like turning it around on the guy
  • “youre consciously making a conscious choice”
  • the fact that by the end the puppet is basically screaming and the music is just. so loud.
  • “YOURE BREAKING THE CAMERA” as the video abruptly ends

“When Rainn’s on the exercise ball bouncing up and down, and I come over and I stab it with the scissors. In every other take we did, I stabbed it and it just slowly goes down. And the camera angle was that he just slowly ducked behind the thing and it was incredible. On the last take they were like “do one more.” And I remember going over and I went “boom”! And I must have hit the seam or something. And it exploded. He hit the ground as hard as I’ve ever seen a human hit the ground. i like this video because its a relic of the Before Times, like i love the 6-second cinematography that goes into vines but sometimes we forget the value of delayed gratification

last time i saw this on tumblr is was when the video player was *extra* broken and it took 12 minutes to load. was nice to finally watch it without pausing it 7 times
