I think we all need to stop and appreciate the fact that, at some point during Anakin’s apprenticeship, there was probably a moment when he and Obi-Wan looked at each other and realized at the exact same time that Anakin was taller than Obi-Wan.

And the funniest thing about this is that Obi-Wan isn’t actually that short. At 5′10″ (1.77m) he’s incredibly average height – slightly above average, actually. But his best friends are always freakishly tall

so I didn’t really think about it until I saw that gif but when Garnet poofs Peridot, she was like .2 seconds away from blasting Pearl in the face. Which Garnet notices, looks distressed, and quickly acts to prevent

like had she not grabbed her as quickly as she did and changed the trajectory, the blast would’ve hit Pearl right in the face and considering that’s where her gem is, it may well have killed her.

and I’m kind of wondering if there was a future she saw where she didn’t redirect the blast in time and Pearl died. Since a lot of Garnet’s quick actions are explained as her having seen it thus knowing what she needs to do to prevent it.

I’m not even entirely sure if Garnet intentionally poofed Peridot or if it just happened in her haste to prevent this
