can y’all shut the fuck up about snape when we had LITERALLY THE SWEETEST MAN EVER

Can we talk about how Hagrid is a half-giant and basically the only of his kind at Hogwarts? How his birth was revealed without his consent in a “news” article, causing parents to see him as incompetent and violent? How he took the fall for a crime he didn’t commit because he looked brutish and dumb compared to the golden-child prefect Tom Riddle, who accused him? How this caused him to miss out on the rest of his education and left him to be banned from using magic, the biggest indicator of outsider status in the magical world? How, despite all of this, he’s still genuinely a better person than a kid who got bullied a few times and became obsessive over the girl he didn’t get? How Hagrid’s love of those big, scary monsters isn’t because he’s silly or naive, but because he knows what it’s like to be seen as a monster when it’s not true?

Hagrid is miles more interesting and compelling, but people can’t get past the obsessive, creepy asshole.

I have strong feelings about Rubeus Hagrid.

“You two have managed to accomplish something together no one ever has; you surprised me.”

I’ve been fucking waiting for this photo set right here, and let me tell you why. Monsters University quickly became my favorite movie due to a single fact, that these two? They failed. They actually went to school and they failed, they didn’t get brought back in, they didn’t make a miraculous come back at the end, they fucking failed College.

But that didn’t stop them. Through hard work, perseverance, and taking opportunities that came a long instead of just settling for where they were at, they were able so still make it to where they wanted to be.

That is super powerful, it gives you hope, knowing that college isn’t the only way. Because you know what? It isn’t, you don’t have to go to college to get to where you want to be or to be happy. You just got to take chances, take opportunities, swallow that fear and do things to help change your life for the better. If you believe college is it? Fantastic! Go for it!

However, remember: Life is never over if you fail something. You just got to look for opportunities to bring yourself back up.

the main difference b/w bi women and lesbians, besides who we are attracted to, is that bi women use dual wield weapons and lesbians use one larger weapon. the dps is about equal but lesbians excel at single target and bi women are good at aoe, so i would suggest having at least one of each in your party for endgame discourse
