I thought this Grand Prix Final would be my last chance to win, but Yuuri easily beat my personal best. Looks like it won’t be that easy to get my hands on a medal, but I think I’ll be able to enjoy this year’s Final until the very end. I can do this.
The fandom consistently portrays Hunk as the softest and most non confrontational Paladin, which I Guess is true when you compare him to a hothead like Keith… Anyway my point was, Hunk is the Paladin who tries to resolve conflicts nonviolently, but when you force his hand- Hoo boy. He hits you with that one-two, quick and fast, dirty and straight to the point. Come get some.

he never says that though, he just gets up and leaves and goes and cries in the hallway. it sucks
pidge sees him crying one time and hugs him tightly and the pressure helps him calm down.

when people touch him it takes him a minute to register the contact, so sometimes hunk will poke him from behind to get his attention, and it takes a few seconds for him to turn around and ask whats up

Ok but can we please take a moment to appreciate the fact that,
Hunk’s gun is obviously heavy, like it probably weighs around 50 pounds, but he can hold it up by its handle using just one hand with ease?
This is why I reject the notion that Hunk is fat, and instead accept the notion that he’s functionally muscular.
I can see where you’re coming from, but I should point out that he can be both fat and muscular. It’s even very visible in the show when he’s not in armor. Here are some scenes where he’s clearly soft and squishy in some places:
He even had to suck in his tummy while looking at his paladin armor, which he wouldn’t do if he were flat there. Fat and muscle aren’t mutually exclusive, you can be both at the same time and still be strong.
Shiro’s our thin and buff guy who likely works out his entire body, meanwhile Hunk’s our soft and buff guy who’s a mechanic and primarily works his arms, and they’re both tough. So, it doesn’t make much sense to reject fatness to support muscle; there are lots of different ways to be “functionally muscular”.
I mean, if you want to headcanon Hunk to have no fat on his body, I can’t stop you. I just think he’s already great the way he actually is ¯_(ツ)_/¯
