hunk was his first kiss and so far only kiss before the mouse and it happened at 2:47 AM on a school night when they were supposed to be studying but were instead watching a sappy romcom and lance was making some joke like “haha we should kiss” and hunk was like “okay” and lance.exe stopped working for a full minutes until he realized what hunk just said and then smooched kinda sloppily on the lips

Imagine Pidge creating something that allows them to contact Earth and their families. Lance decides to contact his mom but no one answers. So he ends up leaving a message very similar to the one Percy left for his mom in The Son of Neptune.

Lance: Mom. Hey, I’m alive. I’m not at the Garrison. Something happened. It’s a long story…..
Anyway, I’m okay. I’m sorry. I’m in space-
I’ll make it home. I promise. Love you.

headcanon that lance says things like “what the cheese”, “holy crow”, and “gone apples and bananas” because he’s got younger siblings and he couldn’t curse around them, so he edited his favourite sayings. “shit” is his favourite curse word but he kind of fudges it more often than not now because he’s a good big brother. 

pidge and hunk are the only ones who know, and they’ll stand up for him when keith started making fun of lance’s baby talk. keith feels a lil bad about it so when he apologizes to lance, he just goes, “i hecked up” and lance grins so huge. and when he notices the rest of the paladins are regularly using his silly little phrases or making up their own sfw versions of curses, he definitely gets a little emotional about it because they’re family
