fictional kiss things that end me

andrastesass:

  • being unable to open their eyes for a few moments afterward
  • one small kiss, pulling away for an instant, then devouring each other
  • pressing their foreheads together while kissing
  • speaking normally, then after the kiss their voice is hoarse
  • guys furrowing their brow when kissing passionately
  • staring at the other’s lips, trying not to kiss them, before giving in
  • running their thumb over the other’s lips
  • when they lean forward a fraction as if to kiss the other person, then realize they shouldn’t and pull back to stop themselves
  • ripping the other away – “no we shouldn’t” – but when they kiss them again they moan and hold them close
  • one sliding their hand into the other’s hair slowly
  • their entire body freezing for a second when their love kisses them
  • accidentally being forced inches apart from each other, staring at each other’s lips, and just before they kiss someone pulls them back apart
  • when one stops the kiss to whisper “I’m sorry, are you sure you-” and they answer by kissing them more
  • a hoarse whisper “kiss me”
  • then licks their lips and says “please

I feel like the real peril of growing up Christian that no one really talks about is how deeply veggie tales songs get embedded into your fuckin head like a ticking time bomb of inanity

it could be decades later and you’re minding your own business in line at the grocery store or on the bus or trying to fall asleep and from the depths of your brain comes “the bunny, the bunny, ooh I love the bunny”

you’ll never be free

What happens!!?? I want this romance…. so cute

Ummm im here for vintage lesbians

i’m sure someone probably commented on this post already but this is calamity jane, they eventually move into a tiny cabin together and sing a song about how “a woman’s touch” can fix anything. i watched this movie daily when i was about 7 and now i’m a dyke

my butch lesbian professor who is well into her sixties had told me that this was her first real exposure to the concept that a woman could not only be attracted to other women, but be butch while doing it. she said this movie propelled her into her sexuality with a sense of pride and remains a cornerstone of her coming-out journey. in short, representation matters and always has.

@fairymascot

yeah for reference, here’s the “fixing up the cabin” song

i really want to believe that at least one person in the production knew precisely what they were doing

you can rest easy knowing hedwig was well looked after in the afterlife; it was confusing and terrifying and sad at first but a little while after arriving she felt a light weight on her head and looked up to find her boy, harry potter, staring warmly down at her and smoothing out her feathers, just like he always did

except… he had hazel eyes? and he looked a bit older than hedwig remembered, and who was that red-haired woman with him?

hedwig is confused again. but harry is here, and all is well, so she tucks her head under her wing and falls fast asleep.
