Personally I’m kind of upset that the Weasley twins weren’t Slytherins. It fits perfectly. Cunning, ambitious, charming. Not to say that they weren’t brave and daring too but they fit the profile of a Slytherin perfectly. They were even pureblood.
Like imagine how differently the books would have gone if they’d shown non “evil” Slytherins running around. And the twins could have made Malfoy’s life a living hell for Harry. And just… idk. I just have a lot of feelings about this.
I had never considered this and now I’m kind of upset
Oh my god yes and Molly would have tried so hard to incorporate that into her presents, because they weren’t in Gryffindor as is Weasley tradition.
Green and silver scarves, sweaters, so much Slytherin stuff that they try to convince her they were switched into another house for having too much house spirit, snake firecrackers and sabotage of Umbridge’s largely Slytherin group. All the younger Slytherins who worried about the negative stereotypes feel so much better because of the two pranksters running around making everyone smile.
