dean, rather than being upset with roman & seth, is disappointed in Himself, feels like he IS the weak link, the one holding them back, the lone title-less member of a brotherhood that THRIVED in his absence, and given his “maybe i dont fit in anywhere right now” statement–his isolation is self driven, inspired by his own feelings of guilt & devaluation, Despite his alliances

meanwhile, kevin, highly emotive & upfront with distress, is dealing w loneliness as a factor of Physical rather than Emotional distance. hes TRIED to form new alliances & friendships, but theyve either blown up in his face (braun) Or were temporary, despite his best efforts to bond (elias),,, acting out against lashley is a form of Release, but for once, seeking victory & enacting brutality Isn’t enough,,,,,,, and he feels isolated bc the One Person hes ever admitted Out Loud to NEEDING is physically unable to be with him

Soft. the difference is essentially “i dont feel like people can/should trust me [or at least dont feel Worthy of the trust people have in me] right now” vs “people generally dont trust me anyway, im used to that, but the only person i trust cant be here to have my back”
