anyway im v picky about alistair’s characterization bc a lot of people tend to erase his insecurities and flaws and bad traits and?? idk thats entirely part of him it just rubs me the wrong way that people picture him as the lovesick puppy/prince charming because yeah? he’s also a skilled warrior? he’s also a petty lil piece of shit when he wants? he’s also a young man that has to struggle with survivor’s guilt and being an abuse survivor? he’s way more than everyone’s sweetheart tbh……………. stop oversimplifying characters its almost 2017
