As the primaries head west this week, it’s worth looking into the candidates’ plans to address the challenges facing Native Americans. Turns out, there’s not much to see — unless you’re looking at Bernie Sanders. Sanders has an articulated plan for America’s indigenous people (above partially), including a plan to protect sacred places.
Even if you don’t believe it can be done, this is the only presidential candidate in my three decade lifetime to EVEN TALK ABOUT THIS SUBJECT ONCE during their campaign.
