We don’t know these facts about El Generico’s life from his own words. Generico was never one to talk much about his past–or, well, to talk much at all–so all we know about his history comes from stories told by other people, from casual jokes made by other wrestlers or from urban legends spun out on message boards, woven together to create some sort of continuity.
