you know what trope I hate? When a (het) couple is getting ready for some fancy event and the dude is fumbling with a bowtie (with terrible results) and the chick just shakes her head and is like “get over here you useless oaf” and ties his bowtie?? Like??? Why would she know how to tie a bowtie??
